these red lights i have heard so much about have appeared on it !!!

was one.... then it was 4 .... doen not work properly atalll now ...

and controller wont connect to it either

what is the solution to this problem ?

i heard you can send it too microsoft but how / where do you do this ?

Go on their website,you get a 3 year extended warranty just on the red lights, im on my 3rd xbobx just now and i hardly play it!

failing that one of the guys i used to work with delievered 360's from all over the place to a boy in lochgelly/kelty, i'll see if i can find out any more info mate, he's quite reasonable if you cant get it done through microsoft

im not sure how long i have had it ,

i have been on the website , cant find any bit that says do this : send away : fixed

just with you saying it was one then 4, diffrent lights on means diffrent things

sound and vision at leith walk repair the rrod problem for £47 but defo give it a go your self av just fixed mine in under 30mins

was one at first , next time it was four ... will see if i can get it fixed for free if not then will try myself as its fucked anyways

how do you go about fixing it yourself anyhoo ?

so whats it showing up now?

not being funny but check the connections going into bacl of the xbox also make sure your power block isnt over heating

it changes , but atm it starts up fine but the controllers just flash green ????

they wont connect to the xbox pressing the connect button on the controller and xbox does not fix it ....

and the batteries are all fine

bring it in to my work tomorrow (sunday) and i'll get my coleague to check it out. he is master of xbox repair. we fix them at work.

bring it in let him have a quick look at it and if it is fixable i'll sort some thing out for you ;)

my last one keepet over heating so went out and got a new one have been told its fixable but never looked into it

trust me im secretly hoping its fucked ahah ps3 all the way

the problem is xbox free with a phone OR ps3 £300 or whatever it is :(

£249.99. and comes with more harddrive space than your xbox :P you know you wanna buy one hunt!!

no worries mate :) by the way xboxes are complete pain in bum when it comes to fixing them which invloves reflowing the board, drilling holes in metal chassis and using proper thermal paste and fitting kit.

if you do whole job properly it takes about just over 3 hours.

ps3's red light of death / yellow light of death are much easier to fix no messing about with drilling holes and fitting new bracket / kit etc
