Hello!

Quick question, Im watching Road Wars 8) , and a car chase has happened. The boy that nicked the car, crashed the car into a parked motor, and jumped over the wall. The Police officer then kicked the wooden garage door down, to catch the guy.
My question is, what would happen to your car for damage, as you where not to blame. ie would you have to claim for this on your insurance, loosing your no claims? Also as the door was kicked down by Police, would they pay for this?

It would be down to the insurance to sort out between them- usually the insurers of the stoln car will pay up for damage. If it's only third party or not insured, the owner of the other car will have to claim from his policy.

Any damage caused by the Police to effect the arrest of a suspect will be repaired and paid for by the Police.
