front number plates

Hey there, im plannin on a change of my bumper and flushing it all off but i would like to put a small number plate on the front of the car is this legal if not is a sticker number plate legal??

my car is a focus uk model if it makes any difference for imports

I don't see any reason why not, provided that the plate has the correct font and reflective properties etc.
