ok i know the legal tyre depth needs to be above 1.6 but over how much of the wheel??
my trackins fuked n the insides r well pritty dodgy but its only over about 1/2" is it still legal?? im gonna get new tyres when i get spare cash but they ok the now?

Hello.

The tyre needs to be at least 1.6 mm, across three quarters of the width of the tyre, measured from the centre and around the complete circumference.

If there is any cord or ply showing at all, you will get at least three points, £60 fine and bear in mind if it is the tracking, it could affect both tyres on the same axle which could mean an instant prohibition.

If in doubt- change them.
