window tints?

im wanting some advise on tints as im planning to get some , can u get points for tints being to dark? is 70% light def going to be ok if get stopped and what would u advise to keep the police off my back , cheers

I would advise that you don't tint your front windows (those between the 'A' and 'B' pillars). No vehicles are produced with 'clear' glass and by even adding the lightest tint, you may drop below 70%. In the worst case, you may be reported for using a vehicle in a dangerous condition, or dangerous driving, both of which would earn you penalty points.
