Road Tax

I have had my car for two weeks now but haven't been able to drive it because I had no insurance or road tax. Now, I have just got insurance today, but can't get any road tax because I need to wait for the insurance documents to arrive.

Now, I was just wondering if it is possible for me to drive it at all even though I have no road tax because I need it to get to work and back. I would get the road tax as soon as the documents arrive, it has MOT aswell.

The vehicle requires to display a vehicle excise licence. It is actually an offence to fail to display it even if you have a disc and it has simply fallen off the windscreen.
