undercover cop cars

i it just me or is there a little more undercover cops cars on the roads these day, its really wierd coz ave seen a vw polo up in the gyle and they have neons that blue underneath them and no visible signs apart from the two officers in the front with there uniforms on,

questions are:

1> i thought blue neons where illegal on any car that is not a police (IE cars that dont have police written allover them)

2> is it not classed as entrappment if your no aware that the car behind you is a car used by the police, not that im breaking the law on purpose,

3> is it true that if you a sre signalled by one of these cars to stop, you have the right to drive without stopping to your nearest police station, as they may be phoney officer (before you say it was in the paper about this guy from prestonpans convicted of doing this)

4> and finally are they even allowed to pull people over considering they are infact not an emergancy verhice or a verhicle that has the correct signs on it to say that it is a police verhicle

am just courious as i see alot of these undercover cars pulling people over and they seem to just pop out of nowhere and scare the living crap out of you when they make themselfs known, fair enough pulling people for breaking the law am all for it but doing it in a sense where there trying to hide there present, a bit unfair to anyone dont you think,

also soz about that last post i made i spoke to the sargent that was on duty yesterday and hes assured me that he will speak to the officers involved as they were clearly had nothing else to do and decide to pick on some random guy , i dont know

I very much doubt this was a Police car....

Neons are illegal if you can see the coloured light from the front or back of the vehicle.

No. Unmarked cars are an invaluable tool to detect offenders. If you dont spot us, tough.

That would depend on the circumstances. You would probably be arrested and reported to failing to stop for a Police signal and let the court decide if your excuse is valid or not.

Why are they not an emergency vehicle? :roll:

Yes, officers in unmarked cars can stop vehicles, hence the reason we have blue lights and sirens fitted to them



and they seem to just pop out of nowhere and scare the living crap out of you when they make themselfs known

But if, as you say, you abide by the law, then what are you worried about????

No, i dont.

Please dont repeat questions- Eddie and myself come on here in our own time for no reward other than to assist the cruise scene and cruisers.
